Re: Generic Scarif Rebel Marine WIP

Transponder looks a good print. Loads of references to show what the flak vest should look like too, in case you get stuck. The jacket has some extra flaps, straps and ribbing that aren't explicit in the standard so it's untested ground. I'd be tempted to think about losing the more visible shoulder...

Re: First (informal/solo) troop, feedback

My snow jacket also might have shorter arms than such a chest size might expect but that could be down to it being meant as a quick cover to be put on over other things. It is also needed to be about waist length and not lower with a draw string but that's a pretty easy change. Around the middle of ...

Re: First (informal/solo) troop, feedback

That's a good one, just like what I have. The pack in itself isn't needed for clearance, it's listed as an optional component. You've done a good job with the hose already so I don't think the greebs would cause a problem and they're easy to fit later on. I've got the 3d print files for them from wh...

Re: First (informal/solo) troop, feedback

The colours can that work are: Base: Dylon Sandy beige. Pebble beige is a bit too much caramel. A decent amount of this base colour should be visible, if you compare to the reference pics, 25-30% sometimes. Blobs of colours are: Main colour: Oasis Floral Basil. Lighter olive in the pics. Secondary c...

Re: First (informal/solo) troop, feedback

At first look, it's a very good baseline you have to work off there. Some parts look great but there are some points that I'd pick up on. As always, be familiar with the published standards and their interpretation: http://newsite.rebellegion.com/endor-commando-rebel-soldier-trooper/ Please don't he...

I don't know of anyone else making these. This is good work, Mr D.

Re: Generic Scarif Rebel Marine WIP

Boots and gaiters match colour, you've a roll pin for the belt, and the trousers should be OK. The thought that occurred to me is the jacket. The standards - http://newsite.rebellegion.com/rebel-marine-scarif/ mention the stripes on the sleeves for the flak vest variant should be tan and the jacket ...

It's ABS sheet, not mouldable but bendable with heating.

Re: The Corporal Casrich helmet

Have you had a look at Rebels too. There might be more references even if animated.
Its a damn good start though. I've not noticed it there's the flight cap or not.

What boots are you sourcing, are they IDF scout style?

Re: Scarif commando WIP

Swiss gaiters like those are an option. Again try to get them to blend with the boot colour.

Re: Scarif commando WIP

Nice to see the flak vest variant. Adds variety in a group when you all look different but the same. Cloth topper looks good. Blast ring has the red starbird which I personally don't think fits as it's from a poster and not the yellow pathfinders insignia from screen. Logo reads as optional from the...

Re: Scarif marine WIP

Hello, welcome in. Looks a pretty solid base to start with, well done on that. Given the standard's wording and the lighting in the pics, the trousers look a little tan yet they might well be coyote, one of the specified colours. Washing machine dye can change that quickly if needed to one of the li...

Re: WIP - Liz's Rebel Fleet Trooper build

Are RFT boots the same as x wing/tie? There used to be a lot of smaller size knobelbechers when I was looking especially on the bay of e's German site.
