Yes indeed. It was rather fiddly and I hope it will hold together. The gold cap beads were a lucky charity shop find. They are appx 9mm in diameter, some are thicker than others.You can find similar on Ebay called things like "gold bendy snake necklace". I used gold wire for the three bands and tooth floss to make the three small gold cap ring shapes.

The blueish beads were Ebay, called "faceted cut rondelle crystal glass beads", in "Blue and Purple". I got 12x8mm for the large ones and 10x7mm for the small ones used near the clasp at the back.

Kat fitted the toiles on me today, both for the dress and the outer cloak. (Obviously there will be sleeves on both sides.) Fortunately not many changes are needed. So now for the real fabric, a bit of strengthening here and there, making the main collar slightly larger to cover my face more, a magnet to help the collar stand up and a bit of fairy dust sprinkled over the sewing machine.

This is the mock up and Kat is now going to extend the collar. Carrie tips her head down a little to give that look so I'll have to try and do that when wearing it.

Yeah, we're going to raise it by 2.5" for height. As Alex says, Carrie does dip her head for those collar shots. Am going to test out horse hair canvas for stiffening to add body to the satin.
Alex also kindly pointed out that the top shoulder seam should sit further inwards as it currently sits off the shoulder. The sleeve seam should run perpendicular so will amend that too
