Fantastic. I’d never seen the back before. I’m going to concentrate on the mask first. See if I can get that somewhere close.

Re: Prune Face WIP
Without a clear shot of the feet and gaiters to compare to in this character's specific case, those parts are not the same as we lay out for the ERT requirements, From the reference pics provided, it's arguable the lower parts of the costume are standard ERT spec. The gaiters look like 8 eyelets and there appears to be scuffing on the right boot to show the toe guard.
Gaiters are simple tubes with 5-8 pairs of eyelets with no strap to go under the foot.
Boots are IDF scout/palladium pampa mid style in a sand or tan colour with a specific toe guard and chunky sole.

The gloves would need the usual removal of lettering and tags, plus getting dirtied up to reduce the yellow appearance. If they're lined you may want to remove it to prevent hands getting too hot.

Re: Prune Face WIP
The bit on the glove could be added and there appears to be a strap under it which you can spoof with a shoelace. If you really wanted to lighten them, a wash of leather paint could do that.
They do look like the expected style of gaiters with maybe 7 or 8 eyelet pairs in varying degrees of being crumpled and curved ears down around the bottom of the ankle. You can see the raised toe guard so the style I've boot I linked to should cover those.

Plenty of US gloves look similar, but not over here.

Re: Prune Face WIP
Thanks. The gloves are lightening nicely as I’ve got to scuff the print off it, but I will dry brush some paint on if need be.
I figured with the gaiters being dirty and crumpled they could be passable. Is it worth trying to modify what I have or is there another method?

There's no standard and you're gambling on a judge overlooking the differences. They may do, they might not. We can't say you have to change them but I feel they could look more prototypical than what you have.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll look into modifying them.

Re: Prune Face WIP
Hi Chris, I did a bit of checking on the gloves/hands front, as although he is displayed with gloves in the costume book, all the movie/publicity refs show latex "hands" with long fingernails.
The consensus seems to be that the costume book counts as an official LFL source, and so as long as the detail on the gloves can be made out and yours match the references, it should be fine for you to go ahead with gloves rather than latex hands. Certainly more straightforward that way!
As always, nothing is ever 100% certain when it comes to clearances, but as far as we can see you should be fine with gloves.

Re: Prune Face WIP
Thanks for that. I’m halfway to getting the gloves finished (should be this weekend). Yes I’d like to avoid latex hands if possible.

Re: Prune Face WIP
Image searching for driver gloves shows some examples very close to the reference but mainly in the US. I'm seeing if there are chinese "homage" styles available.
Could this brand be as close to screen used as we've seen for any Endor related gloves if you remove the black hem?
