Been working on the eyes. As said earlier there's a number of approaches. For now I've taken the sharpie approach, and it actually looks okay. I'm also gonna trim down that glue round the bottom as it looks like he's crying

Did a kit up of everything so far, legs still need a little bit of work as they're a bit long. I'll shorten then down soon

but with the padding to the top of the legs and up it looks okay

Great progress with the eyes.
The legs def look to short and I think that will cause you movement issues.

I've managed to make the legs a little longer, will post pictures soon. A few people in the group have mentioned one of these would be great for the padding, as it fills out every space giving the character a great shape. Minus gloves and hood which are separate.

Looks horribly sweaty and if it's like my pikachu ( don't ask ) needs a battery pack and fan running off it.
If it works for you though, it's an option.
Happiness is a warm A280. Or A300. Even a Glie-44 at a pinch.

that little splodge just between the top lip and the nose will be covered by fur

Sorry for the awful photo. Hopefully grab a better one once the whole head is completed, but reached a real milestone today by attaching the fur to the head. There's still a couple of gaps which I need to fill in but all in all I'm really happy with it.

Head is 90% there. One ear looks bigger just because of the angle of the photo.
If anyone's got any idea of where to get fabric for the hood that would be awesome

Some of the guys in the group reccomened making the hood out of chammies that have been glued together. I'll try and get hold of some and some fabric dye. I'm thinking a red hood will look great

Been working of the staff this, I. Hose to go for the Shaman stick option. There's some frayed string round the bottom, then some offcuts of my Jawa wrapped round the middle. The top is a polystyrene ball that has been sculpted, yet to be painted though. I'm also going to cover up the foam with something too

Rough stitching together of chamois may also look good. They can probably sew roughly rather than turn out animal or scout trooper leftover glue.
Staff is a nice idea, in keeping with colours of things from the forest.
