So I was in fabricland today I saw these, you see how even the longer stuff is slightly matt looking........

Oh my goodness you guys are amazing! :)
I have just received a couple of samples just like these ones. The smaller one is from FabricLand
if I said I was going for one of these two, which one do you think would be best? I'm thinking the longer one.

The larger piece with the longer strands looks like it could be decent.
Happiness is a warm A280. Or A300. Even a Glie-44 at a pinch.

Hard to tell from the small sample, but looking at the CRLs, the refs and other wips I’d say maybe both? Shorter on the body and some of the longer on the face.

From some of the ewok builds I've looked at, some have shorter and longer fur and on some it is all the same length, usually the longer type. Is this something that varies from base to base or is it just personal preference?

I think maybe personal preference? It’s hard to say, I’m just going by the refs and Crl which is what I usually do.
I’d suggest maybe posting up a WIP on the main forum and get their opinons too, did you join the fb ewok group?

Would it be an option to go for the longer one for the whole thing and if it needs to be shorter then it down?

Right I’m getting this started back up again. I think I’ll start with the feet.
These have been recommended to me to use as the toes. With a bit of trimming down etc.
Now I need to find a fur colour to use for the costume.

Another thing I wondered was would it be clearable to have a net shoulder bag of fake 'rocks' as an accessory? I've done a quick sketch to show what this might look like.

I think saw it done once in a another base for the rebel legion, if it wasn't RL then it was the RPF or somewhere like that. I totally understand that if there isn't a reference for it then I might not be able to clear it which is fine :) Are there any other accessories I could do? I like the idea of a spear :)
