Hair
There are some great Rey bun tutorials on youtube and in the Rey facebook group. My hair colour is not brown, but as I hate wearing wigs unless I absolutely have to, I use root cover up to spray my hair brown. The best brand I've found so far is 'The Root Fix'. as soon as you wash your hair, the colour comes out again.
Rey has some brown wool straps wrapped around her buns. I try to not work with animal materials so I just got a similar looking fabric, dyed it brown and used that.

Shirt
As the base pattern I used a shirt with a similar fit that I had at home and just transferred it to the fabric i wanted to use for the shirt. The main fabric I used is this one https://www.thehempshop.co.uk/organic-l ... -5545.html

For the fabric pieces on top of her shoulders I used this https://www.thehempshop.co.uk/natural-h ... -220g.html

Then I added trim out of the same material around the collar and the v-neck

The Sleeves. The right one is made out of the same fabric as the overall shirt material. The left sleeve is made from this. https://nickoftimefabric.com/products/i ... UKiIM0iuHs found by the amazing Morrigan Belle Phillips
I added some pin tucks, to make it look closer to Rey's sleeve

I also added some decorative stitches around the seams

In the end I tea-dyed the shirt

Boots
I use the Rey boots from Pozu that were also used in the films https://po-zu.com/collections/star-wars ... own-womens

Tabard
For the tabards I started out with some white cotton gauze and tea dyed it and then sprayed some black and brown watered down fabric till I was happy with the way it looked. I let the edges fray.

On the side where the loop is I cut the fabric apart and then stitched it back together. You can see that detail on some of the Rey promo shots

I added two snaps on each shoulder (the other half is added to the shirt) so they tabards wouldn't move around.

Armwraps
I use the wider Boots bandages for the wraps and weathered the edges with watered down acrylics. I stitched the wraps to the top of compression sleeves and then I just wrap the bandages around my arm and tuck the end into the compression sleeves.

Belt
This is what my pattern for the belt looks like.

The belt is a 2mm sheet of foam sandwiched between faux leather. This is my go to fabric https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01 ... TF8&psc=1I
Then I added the twine for detail and the rectangular rings.

Wrist wrap
This is what my pattern that I used for the wrist wrap looks like

My wrap consists out of 2 layers of faux leather glued together. I painted the lager part with dark, watered down acrylics, to give it the two tone appearance.

Hip pouch
This is the satchel that gets altered into Rey's hip pouch https://www.silvermans.co.uk/products/1 ... 8152325571

You have to remove the print at the top with rubbing alcohol. I also recommend washing the satchel and then weathering it yourself.

Kristen Jones posted amazing step by step instructions on how to do the modification on the Rey cosplay group on instagram. Which is what I used. Here are some of my progress pictures

Blaster
The blaster I use has been 3d printed by a friend of mine. I assembled, painted and weathered it

Trousers
I'm currently working on a new version, so I will update here once they are finished
Staff
My staff consists of 3d pieces glued onto a dowel rod.

I spray painted the staff in different shades of brown and black and then wrapped some fabric scraps around the middle bit

Afterwards I had the staff seperated into 4 pieces that connect with screws, for better travel

I used this tutorial for the sling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDltmxEo7mI a list of the items you need for it is provided in the video description
Here are some detail pictures of mine
