Hello Fay,
I can't see from the pictures the 2 thunder shapes on the right collar piece. Are you still in.wip or this one is a completed costume?

Everything else looks fine although some pieces like elbows and boots cover look a bit small sizewise in my opinion.

They are there. Just not visible due to light. I'll post a pic in a bit.
We experiented with larger armour, it looked clunky and out of proportion on my frame.

Costume is looking great, Fay! The question of proportion is always a tough one when it comes to costumes, especially ones from animated shows where the characters are often not in proportion to "normal" human torsos and limbs! For what it's worth, I think you've made the right choice to go with something in proportion to yourself. Loving the detail on your lid and paint sprayer, too"

Looks fantastic Fay.
Picking up on Fed’s comments, if you haven’t already I’d suggest taking some close photos of the Armour so that the judges can see all the detail that may not be so visible in the turn-arounds photos.

Personally the Armour for looks great, the knees yes possible on the smaller side having worn oversized Armour myself ( my original RS Fett) I think you’ve made the right call.

I say get it submitted

Any problems or questions about the submission process drop me a line :)

Don't get me wrong, the costume looks great and the paint drippings on boots and gloves are spot on. It is my biggest problem, I tend to have a look at the flaws when someone posts pictures inn the forum mostly because I prefer to give feedback on What I think will be picked up by the judges then to say "awesome" and then you spend weeks resubmitting :)

Very funny Jeditid but it wasn't all Wez. I worked very hard on this myself and did more then you might think. I'm very grateful to Wez for all his help, I'm also quite proud of myself for what I've done. The awesome belt was a gift from Wez, that's the one thing made by someone else. Wez did do the lid, he shaped the chest armour, helped with gluing and fitting. The rest...the painting and sewing was done by me. Including the blasters.

That's because you are a judge :). Its always tricky when you have a 'finished' kit without a WIP from the beginning.

I think it's beautifully painted, with some really lovely details.

I'm not sure how strict the judges are on sabine S1? The standards do refer to spacing and I would be concerned about the bust plate in profile, what I'm wondering is: You look like you are leaning back and the plates are pulling away slightly. is it your natural posture to lean back slightly? and you were asked to stand straight when your plates were molded? I only ask as I curve forwards and had the opposite problem. Might just need a touch more velcro towards the top of the plate.

Hi Tenebris, thank you for feedback. I think I wore a different bra when the plates were moulded 😁 that's probably the cause of the spacing. I'll place the chest armour better next time and stand straighter which will hopefully help.

Also...I think the profile pic you're referring to is my trial placement pic which I had them stuck with tape. The bottom action pose is better...the armour is stuck down hard with Velcro and the gap is gone 😊

Ahh that makes sense......

First thing I was told when building my merc was : 'Always wear the bra you intend to wear for trooping when getting plates molded' its a pain in the bum, but i just chose one and keep it with my kit......... If i ever loose it
