Probably prefer this style, though...

Personally I would say your 1st one would be better as this one is still a bit to close to Chewie.

You think? The second one will look entirely dark gun metal from a side profile.

Possibly add a sash bandolier with boxes and leather pouches...

Like the idea of the sash. Definitely something a bit different. Or potentially adding belt to it similar to the Wookiee armour worn on the warriors.

Would inverting the colours of chewy work ? So grey areas become brown etc ?

Shoulder grey etc move to lover half of jumper ?

Legs all brown apart from . From the shin area down

Grey at wrist ends ?

Bottom of pants ?

If going generic the colour choices dont have to stick to the normal colours for chewy :)

Problem is that Mark has already bought loads of the pre mixed hair. You certainly couldn’t just invert Chewie’s current pattern but if it’s sufficiently different. You could also another colour to mix and blend it in with either the brown or grey.

Does anyone have details of a good ‘Wookiee toes’ maker?

Preferably in the UK :)

I got mine from the states. Not sure where Phil/Keith got theirs though. Hopefully you’ll find someone in the UK through the FB group. No worries as these can be fitted right at the end

As paul says sort the toes out at any point of your build as it wont affect you starting .

Work out 100% what your using for gaining height then can get ur undersuit made up and start latching :)

Everything else will follow 🙂

Cool, cheers guys.

The mesh suit is here already. Fortunately, Phil Howard had one already made but he’d already latched some hair on to the legs (wrong colour for my build, unfortunately, so had to snip them all off)
Once the Worktalls arrive, i’ll see how the suit is sitting and check here for recommendations for change of fit, etc.

Regarding generic Wookiees, can bandoliers be black leather? Just checking, as the only ones i’ve seen have been brown.

6. ACCESSORIES
Wookiees may wear helmets, minimal body armour, leather bandoliers or aprons, or any item of that nature. Wookiees are not seen to be wearing clothes in the sense of other humanoid Star Wars characters, such as, shirts, pants, robes, tabards, shoes, or any other article of clothing are unacceptable for approval.

I’ve seen a lot of Wookiee’s but can’t remember seeing any with a black bandolier. Your best bet is to watch ROTS as there a lot of shots from Kashyyyk in it with a few Wookiee’s for reference.
