In addition to my BB8 build viewtopic.php?f=77&t=1298 I'm also building a NR-S3 droid. This droid appears in the Star Wars Droid Repair Bay VR experience. commonly known as the Nurse Droid.
There are two ways I could have tackled this one, The first being a full 3D print and the second (and the option I chose) is to modify the Spinmaster BB8 toy. These thing are not available in the EU so I had to resort in importing one from eBay. I managed to snag a second hand one for £40ish. The benefit of this option is that the toy is ready to go with a operational drive that I wont need to do any work on!

Hey Dave did you get the Nurse droid finished? I have the spin master bb8 which has been so much fun i didnt get around to dismantling it yet :)
