There is no such thing as a Rebel Legion Approved costume vendor.
For many parts of a costume the DCOs and costume specialists can help recommend vendors, some of which will be overseas, here in the UK or other Rebel Legion members.
No ensemble costume purchased by one vendor will mean automatic clearance or that clearance is guaranteed.
This is irrespective of their heritage or who’s cleared with it before - costume standards are continuously updated and refined.
The costume needs to be proportional to the wearer, made of good quality fabric and stitching, accurate to screen references and meet the Rebel Legion costume standards.
Screen references can be in the form of screen caps: starwarsscreencaps.com or promotional photos, behind the scenes images and visual dictionary’s or other Approved sources.
The costume standards are for the most part as a basic guide, of the minimum requirements needed.
So we recommend that members do their own research, read and understand the costume standards and look at the other costume wips both here on our forum and on the Rebel legion.com forum and ask.
Neither the Rebel legion, or it’s members can be held responsible for costume components purchased by vendors that then later don’t meet the standards needed to clear.
