This isn't an event per se but I thought I'd make people aware of it.
Jay from the IoW garrison is cycling around the South dressed as a scout trooper to visit filming locations we may recognise. Over 6 or 7 days they are going to:
Bovingdon
Whippendell Woods
Cardington
Puzzlewood
Greenham Common
Fawley
Greenham is close to me so I've offered if they'd like me to meet them there in costume for a little while. If anyone is fancying a bit of fresh air then they said it'd be great if anyone wanted to turn and say hello as they tour the sites.
Naturally, there no changing provisions or refreshments as this is very much unofficial but here's a chance to get out and keep 2m away from anyone as they support MNDA.
You can find out more via the book of face under Tour de Force or via the post from the IoWG that I've shared to the RLUK fb page.
7 days. Scout Trooper. Lots of trees. Can't go wrong.

Happiness is a warm A280. Or A300. Even a Glie-44 at a pinch.

I’d be up for it - do you have dates and rough timings?

Re: Tour de Force, September. Various locations.
Let's say it's not clearly documented.
They depart Southsea on the 26th and head to Egham. No site on that day,
Day 2 - Whippendell and Bovingdon. Middle of day.
Day 3 - Cardington. First thing.
Day 4 - In transit
Day 5 - Puzzlewood. Morning.
Day 6 - Maybe Greenham
Day 7 - Maybe Greenham in morning and Fawley in afternoon
That's all I can gather from facebook.
