Hi Ben

I'm unclear if you mean you cant find your WIP, or you cant remember the name of the costume you would like to make?

We don't have armorers as such here, we have costume advisers and detachment staff, but everyone chips in.

If you could clarify then we can help :)

Hi there, welcome to the temple! Am I correct in thinking that I spoke to you at MCM London?

As far as Tusken Jedi go, Gareth is correct that A'Sharad Hett is one option. There's also his father, Sharad Hett: http://newsite.rebellegion.com/sharad-hett-tusken/

However, apart from those two, any other Jedi/Tusken combination wouldn't be allowed. So if doing a named character isn't what you're after, generic Jedi would be a good alternative. For that, I'd suggest checking out our guide here: http://rebellegion.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=40
The guide contains links to the standards and various other helpful resources.

And for Clothears, they produce very high quality costumes, and many of our members own them. However, we can't 'preapprove' anything, I'm afraid. It is incredibly unlikely that you'll run into any problems getting cleared with a Clothears costume, but we can't guarantee that. They are very well recommended though.
As a side note - if you were to get the Ben Kenobi costume from them, it would only clear as Old Ben himself, and not a generic Jedi.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Hi Ben,

As David said - generally, if you clear as Qui-Gon - then you can only troop as Qui-Gon.

Qui-Gon has quite a distinct look and Im not sure that his costume parts line up with the requirements for a Generic Jedi.

Let us know how you are getting on.

Generally, a lot of prequel Jedi face character costumes can be used as generics, though you'd have to check all the parts against the relevant standards. Though if you do want to use Clothears, they do offer a 'custom/generic Jedi' option that may be cheaper than one of the face characters. Several members of the temple have really nice custom Clothears Jedi. Drop them an email, they're really lovely people!

There aren't any other well known UK-based makers that I know of - there's a couple in the US (you can find links in the 'Padawan's Guide' at the top of the main Britannia Temple subforum), and I know a fair few of our members have had success with going to local tailors/seamstresses and directly commissioning them. Alternatively, you could give it a go yourself - a Jedi costume is fairly simple in design, and I know several members (myself included) who more or less taught themselves to sew through making a Jedi costume.
