Acceptable liveries

Post by lonewolf71 » Sun Jun 28, 2020 12:45 pm

Thinking of upgrading my pilot uniform and changing the lid.
Can you tell me what is currently acceptable and what is not, livery wise?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

It's quite wide ranging to be honest, check out this post to give you an idea.

Acceptable liveries

Post by Jerrick Sunrunner » Sun Jun 28, 2020 4:53 pm

Howdy Mike,
Basically as Phil says it’s wide ranging, you could chose inspiration from any of the pilot helmets from any of the films, or you’re own colour scheme and design.

If you’re doing your own design then please avoid any real world iconography, so for example no football club badges - but squad colours are acceptable.

The visual dictionaries for rogue one have some different designs that are quite cool.

By all means post up your designs before you go ahead with it.

I have some helmet templates you could use if you need - if you need them in another format let me know :)

Thanks guys.
This means that I will need a different squadron name and number, what have others chosen as their identity?

Not quite sure what you mean by this mate, if you have a Krayt number already and have joined Rebel Legion Starfighter Command http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/ ... hp?t=10384 then you shouldn't need a new squadron name and number.

Regarding identity, I was talking about creating fictional or movie based personas.
My current livery is based on Theron Nett (Red 10)

Ah ok. If you are just doing a helmet refit then your name etc shouldn't change, just submit the lid for approval under your current name.

Alternatively, retire your current one and create a new persona.
Mark, can Krayt numbers be transferred?

Yeap krayt numbers can be.

For ease and to save adding to the queue if Mike wants to post his lid up here we can approve it, doesn't need to go through a formal clearance unless theres significant changes made to the overal costume, then that should be submitted :D
