The components seem to be in place but just check them off against the standards.
The gorka doesn't need mythical sleeve stripes so that's a bonus. For clearance I'd try to get the cloth helmet cover tucked tighter under the brim as it's a little saggy at the front. The boots and spats may benefit from a bit of boot polish to get a uniform colour on them.
Also try to get nice clear pics that show the details especially the ribbing on the cover. Include a separate one of the cover if needed to ward off any what about questions from a judge.

Happiness is a warm A280. Or A300. Even a Glie-44 at a pinch.

Think you'll be ok kitwise but you can see your shirt under the gorka so you could do with hiding it.

Capital was good, and thanks to Base Clearance, I was out with the Marine for half the day. Being a Rebel Trooper is fun in a different way than being a Jedi :)
What I learned from wearing it is I have to reinforce the Velcro holding my anklets on as the adhesive sides did peel off when I crouched, pad the back of my boots to make them a bit more comfortable, and (to please Stevie Walker) dirty it up, but I'll try for clearance.

looked really good today Calum :)

would echo what Geoff said ages ago about trying to get the helmet cover on a bit more uniformly tight around the brim after seeing it today too, and yea, like Steven said I’d definitely dirty it up a little bit more. Most of the references and cleared costumes they all look suitably filthy, and it’d just add more to the look. Maybe try some dry brushing with acrylics around seams and corners, or some matte brown spray paint or dirty down on the trousers.

I’d recommend sewing the Velcro onto the gaiters, as like you said the Velcro became unstuck, and it’s very hard to get most adhesives to stick to pleather. So sewing it back on would be best to reinforce and ensure it won’t peel off with time :) however whatever works for you or you have at hand :+)

You’ve done a really good job working on this Calum, can’t wait to see it get cleared and we can build the scarif squad up more :+) best of luck with your submission

Cleared. Another Marine runs on the beaches of Scarif.
Shout out to Geoff, Stephen, Stevie, Beth, Phil and Mike for the advice on this. Looking forward to fighting the Empire together

Well done! Now I don't want to worry you but have you seen what's behind you in your roster pic?

Huge congratulations Calum! Great work!

I've added you to the roster.

Just for info, we only need 1 more Scarif Trooper to equal the number of active RFTs, and only 3 more to equal the number of Endor Troopers! (assuming we count Mike "Da Sarge" Lawson as just 1 character, even though he has 2 Endor entries! sneaky)

I think there will be a couple more running out of the treeline in the near future up here.

I have a bad feeling about this....
